Imperial Date  0677023.M413 and Omega Force are guarding offline planetary defence silos when they are attacked by xenos (thought to be Aeldari) The mobile defenders were aided by two Armiger Helverins. Despite taking heavy fire and a good deal of casualties the silos were protected long enough for them to regain operational efficacy and provide blanket protection around the atmosphere of Gruesome Discovery. A minor Administratum operative interviewed has expressed his consternation at the timing of the attack which coincided with vital parts of the defence grid becoming exposed for a short time. It is believed that a person or persons within the preventative maintenance department may have been compromised, and a full Inquisitorial audit will take place.

The xenos raiders themselves disappeared swiftly as soon as it became clear the equipment was no longer inoperable. Planetary Governor Serge J'Splatz has praised Omega Force and has in particular commended the crew of Vulture aircraft ; Tears of Wrath. Navaci pattern Taurox Prime Swift Retribution was also singled out for showing exemplary resilience in protecting it's passenger.  Kasrkin Commander Megon however was more effusive "Filthy alien scum tried to catch us with our pants down! What they didn't know was that we had the help of a couple of Armigers. They had just been delivered and still had factory undercoat on them. That didn't matter when they started shooting down alien flyers!" . He went on "Those xenos Johnnies will think twice before they attempt any more funny business on Gruesome Discovery I'd say!". Inquisitor Joh-Phi-Dun-Dro also accompanied Omega Force but was unwilling to comment on the engagement.

Surveillance equipment was sabotaged by raiders so it isn't possible to accurately determine who was involved in the skirmish. Corpses recovered at the scene showed advanced states of decay so it was recommended that promethium bombing of the 75 acre site took place. Imperial cogitators have theorised that one of the parties could be linked to the Popular People's Front of D'Keddes who have recently been causing minor inconvenience to the hard working Imperial citizens by putting up leaflets in prominent places which deters workers from their toil and statistically leads to an increase in leaning, lollygagging and faffing around. If the P.P.F.O.D.K have decided to take more violent measures to achieve their aims then it could see the shortening of rest periods to cut down on free thinking and unauthorised "free time".

A spokesman for the People's Popular Front of D'Keddes Comrade Loquasil has denied having any connection to the supply yard raid. He (?) went on to state that his organisation is merely a worker's rights empowerment group nothing more. Any attempt to implicate his peaceful society with criminal activity might cause "bloody retribution" on the slanderous claims. Governor of Stuke ; Dargo Civisolim has offered a large reward for  the apprehension of those responsible for the raid and a public festival following their trial and subsequent public executions.
